Main role at University of Kent: Lecturer and Undergraduate Admissions
Areas of research interest / expertise: The Physiology of Rugby Union, Injury in Rugby Union, Injury prevention strategies, Cartilage Repair, Lower limb injuries and rehabilitation.
Favourite things about the role: Meeting new people, sharing and passing on knowledge and information, research and learning. Teaching anatomy.
Advice to Sports students at the University of Kent: Enjoy the course and have fun BUT…. Learn as much as you can and get as much experience as you can. Take opportunities and work hard at them as you never know what they may lead to.
Favourite sports: Mainly Rugby Union, Rugby league, Cricket, MotoGP and Formula 1 but any sports.
Sports teams or clubs you work with: Maidstone Rugby Club – (Head of Sports Therapy). I have also previously worked as a Sports Therapist with Wimbledon Ladies F.C. Academy and Arsenal Ladies F.C. For more information on Maidstone Rugby Club click here
