Main role at University of Kent: I study the role of muscle activity patterns  & pedalling strategy during cycling.

Areas of research interest / expertise: The role of movement variability during performance. Main philosophy is that variation is functional, not simply noise!

Favourite things about the role: Trying to understand human performance and ultimately apply this knowledge to improve training of athletes.

Favourite sports: I enjoy pretty much any sport! As long as you know the rules of the game, and know what to watch for, every sport is exciting
