Centre for Sports Studies Lecturer going for Marathon Row at Medway Park!

Karen rowingSunday April 25th 2010 is Global Marathon Day and the Centre for Sports Studies' Sports Therapy Lecturer Karen Hambly is undertaking the challenge of a marathon row of the full 42,195m on a Concept 2 rower. The row will be taking place in in the University of Kent's new rehab gym at Medway Park. Karen will be joined in her marathon row by Old Wrecks Indoor Rowing Club team mate Megan Brown.

Top rehabilitation textbook to feature University of Kent expert

Sports Therapy lecturer Karen Hambly from the Centre for Sports Studies has been invited to contribute to the latest textbook on rehabilitation. Karen will write the rehabilitation section for a new chapter on Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation.
