The Centre for Sports Studies is a dynamic, fast-growing and successful department, established at the University of Kent in 2001. The Centre enjoys new facilities on the recently developed award-winning campus in Chatham Maritime. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in sport related subjects.

On behalf of all at the Centre for Sports Studies, I'd like to extend a very warm welcome to all our new students. Whether you are studying Sports and Exercise Management, Sports Science, Sports Therapy or our MSc in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation we are confident that your time at the University of Kent will prove stimulating and rewarding.

Welcome too, to our new staff members, Professor Samuele Marcora, Carla Meijen, Claire Graham, Colm Gregory and Alastair Thrush. We are truly a European department in sports studies now.

Last, and by no means least, a big welcome back to our returning students. It all counts now!
