Centre for Sports Studies Lecturer going for Marathon Row at Medway Park!
Sunday April 25th 2010 is Global Marathon Day and the Centre for Sports Studies' Sports Therapy Lecturer Karen Hambly is undertaking the challenge of a marathon row of the full 42,195m on a Concept 2 rower. The row will be taking place in in the University of Kent's new rehab gym at Medway Park. Karen will be joined in her marathon row by Old Wrecks Indoor Rowing Club team mate Megan Brown. Megan is currently the British mile record holder and has oodles of European and Home Country Championship medals but this will be her first marathon.
